Episode #11 Recap: THE FINALE

Our teams in the finale are: BERT and ERNIE, CHEWBACCA and HAN and FLUTTERSHY and RAINBOW DASH. Who will win The Amazing Race?

The first task for this is the ROADBLOCK The final Roadblock of the Race required one team member to search through a pile of more than 300 surfboards for eleven that displayed a picture depicting a task, location, or person related to the ten previous legs of the race—one from each of the first nine legs, and one from each half of the double leg (the remaining surfboards had pictures depicting unrelated objects, some of which were pictures showing tasks from previous seasons). Then they had to arrange the surfboards in a fence in chronological order of their appearance during the Race. When all eleven surfboards were displayed in the correct order, they would receive their final clue.

Bert and Fluttershy are evenly matched and work quickly to do the task. Chewy is moving a little bit slower and is a little bit more clumsy with the surfboards. He accidently turns around while carrying one of the boards and whacks Han in the face with it. Ernie sees this laughs and Yells "Hey Han, Surfs up!"

The teams begin arranging their surfboards in chronological order. When Bert finds the board with the cheese wheel picture on it he looks over at Ernie and says: "Ernie... Don't let a cheese wheel hit me in the head"

Chewy also finds the cheese board and goes "mwrorr urghrrr rnnh" and holds his stomach.

All three teams decide to work together to complete the task.

DETOUR

At Beach Access 118, teams had to season a 145-pound (66 kg) pig with island flavoring, then carry it suspended on a bamboo pole 200 yards (180 m) along the beach to a Hawaiian luau. At the luau, they had to properly cover the pig for traditional kalua cooking to receive their next clue. This task was one of the two Detour choices on this leg, but since all teams chose to do the same Detour, it was shown as a miscellaneous task.

Highlights:

*Ernie disappears for a while leaving Bert wondering where he has gone.When he shows up, Ernie has Grass skirts and coconut bras for all the teams.

*Chewy and Han look like something out of Baywatch with the way they run down the beach carrying their pig.

*The ponies gallop down the beach with their pig.

Lowlights:

*Chewy hears the music "Gettin down tonight" and gets down and kisses his pig on the snout causing Han to hit him over the head with the stick.

*Bert and Ernie struggle with the weight of the pig and have a few falls.Ernie in an effort to try and catch up tries to move quicker but accidently knocks Bert into the pit where the pig will be cooked and starts covering Bert. Bert gets out and resembles a mouldy banana. Ernie doesn't recognise Bert again! This causes another visit from the MBB who peel away the leaves to reveal the real Bert once again.

Fluttershy: I'm so glad I'm vegetarian.

Han singing to Chewy: Get up get on up! while he whacks him with a stick. He then changes once Chewy is up to "Let's get physical."Han dances around in his grass skirt while singing and whacking Chewy.

Ernie to Bert: "Hey Bert that's no way to toss a pig skin" as they fall carrying the pig.

Bert to Ernie:" I'm sure glad Miss Piggy isn't here for this."

Additional Task

.At McGregor Point, teams had to get on a personal water craft and ride one mile (1.6 km) along a marked path in search of a field of 100 buoys. They then had to search the buoys for one of four that had their next clue attached.

*The ponies are off like a shot racing for the buoys. Following closely behind by Chewy and Han. Han yells to Chewy Warp speed isn't going to be fast enough we need to speed like we're Penne Al Aribiata and Mr Stevens is after us!

*Ernie is having heeps of fun driving around his water craft he is spinning circles around Bert and yelling "Weeeeee! ",spraying Bert in the face with his wake.

*Chewy crashes into the clue. Han tries to help Chewy back on to his watercraft the ponies race up and get a clue too, followed by Bert and Ernie. After which a high speed water craft race ensues as all three teams gun it for the shore.Bert and Ernie are first on shore followed closely behind by the ponies who overtake them on foot.Chewy and Han are the last on shore but because they are taller than Bert and Ernie they too quickly catch up on foot.

The teams are headed for the finish line.

At the finish line, the wizards and witches have finished transporting everybody and are waiting with anticipation to see who comes first. Homer and Barney try to eat a man in a donut costume then drink lots of beer. The excitement is high. Even Adam and Bill, resident bloggers helped along by a team of kittens and the force are excited.

PIT STOP

In a thunders rush of galloping hooves the ponies come barrelling into the pit stop first!!! All the eliminated teams cheer as the ponies go up to Adam. Ross yells "WHOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

"Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash....22 days, 9 countries, 40,000 miles Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash I am pleased to tell you you are the winners of THE AMAZING RACE and have won 1 million dollars." Everyone claps and cheers.

The ponies bro-hoof Adam.

Fluttershy says "I can't believe we made it."

Rainbow Dash" I couldn't have done it without her."

"To all our pony peeps thanks for your support."

A hot hairy and panting Chewy and a sweaty Han come running into the pit stop.Chewy and Han come running to the pit stop. Everyone cheers and claps for them too.

"Chewy and Han, " says Adam "you're team #2 you fought a great race. Through cheese wheels and silent night operas.Congratulations. The force is strong within you both." Luke and Leia run up to hug Chewy and Han. A man in a very tattered doughtnut suits comes running through.Chewy tells Adam how he thinks he might take up gymnastics after the race and Han thinks that he might try and become an underwear model for Calvin Klein.

Bert and Ernie come rushing into the pit stop with everyone screaming and yelling and cheering them on.

"Bert and Ernie, " says Adam, "you're team #3. You ran a good race. Good job guys. " Ernie and Bert are hugged by the witches and hobbits. Bert and Ernie and Frodo and Sam decide to have a double wedding after the race.Oprah hugs Ernie and Bert and signs a book deal.

Ernie: Hey Adam hey Adam, WE been to 9 different countries, we travelled 40,000 number of miles, we've even seen Bert in a dress and his underwear too heee hee heee hee- (Ernie!) but Bert and I were wondering if you could tell us one thing...

Adam: What?

Ernie and Bert together singing: Can you tell us how to get, how to get to Sesame-a Street. Then Ernie pulls out a ukelele and starts rocking out with the crowd.

The show ends with a huge party. Oprah and Jeremy Kyle waltz, Ernie plays the time warp on the ukelele and everyone dances, Homer and Barney come out with some crazy acrobatic moves as they stand on giant cheese wheels and walk them around. Batman, Robin,Daphne and Velma, Leonard and Sheldon, and the wizards have a massive game of leap frog going on. and a space ship with a huge banner flying behind it say congratulations on completing the race circles in the sky. The lady boys and the MBB take turns dressing and undressing Bert.

Just as the show ends the screen goes black and fuzzy then Freddy and Jason appear.They point a cupcake at the screen and whisper "We'll be back. "

FADE TO BLACK.

Elimination Station #10

Everyone waits to see what team will be iliminated next but they are all surprised to see Adam walk in.Adam tells everyone how the killers were eliminated and how he avoided that same fate.Adam drinks some duff beer, has an arm wrestling match with Oprah, eats a little penne al aribiata and plays some tetris.Halfway through his tetris game the screen goes fuzzy and Freddy and Jason appear saying: "We'll be back" and "save some duff and pene for us!"Adam lets everyone know that it is down to the final three! He asks everyone for their predictions before he has to go.

Jeremy Kyle is disappointed because the Killers are out but he looks forward to booking them on his show now.Jeremy Kyle supports all 3 teams and hopes to beat Oprah to getting them on his show.

Oprah is very happy and still backs Bert and Ernie. She keeps thinking of the book deal and has some possible titles like: From Sesame Street to Siam" "These are the people in your Global village." "Bert and Ernie's incredible journey." or "No I can't marry you Ernie because my head is a perfect banana shape or torpedo."

Leonard and Sheldon and Luke and Leia hope the force will remain with Chewbacca and Han. In their excitement they have a mock light saber battle shouting "may the force be with them!" Batman and Robin also cheer on Chewy and Han.

Barney and Homer want Adam to come first and a case of duff beer to come second.

Hermione and Luna and Frodo and Sam want their friends Bert and Ernie to win or else the ponies.

Daphnne and Velma hope the ponies will do well.

Ross and Rachel want the ponies to win because friendship is magic.

The wizards go for the ponies since friendship is magic and they love magic!Especially when it involves turning Ross into things. Ross scowls at them and mutters that it sucks to be a hoover. They turn Ross into a gumball machine and give everyone some gumballs.

Adam asks everyone to get ready to go to the finish line in America. All the teams are excited to leave the villa.Homer and Barney eat as much penne al aribiata and drink as much duff beer as they can before leaving.


The wizards and witches transport everybody to the United States, ready to cheer on the teams as they cross the finish line.

Amazing Race Recap #10

Teams fly to China from Thailand. In this leg's first Roadblock, one team member had to drink a cup of Chinese medicinal tea, then endure a traditional therapeutic foot massage for 10 minutes. After the massage and another cup of tea, they would receive their next clue. In the case teams were unable to bear the painful part of the massage, they would tap one side of their chair and say "uncle" to signal the masseuse to stop. Doing so, however, would mean restarting the massage from the beginning.

Rainbow Dash She uses her sonic rainboom to avoid feeling any pain. She snorts and sputters while drinking the tea which is quite foul.

Chewbacca says Mwrorrr urghrrrr rnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnh

Ernie takes the challenge. Ernie likes having someone touch his feet so he keeps calling uncle on purpose to start the massage over again. Bert yells Ernie! Ernie says: "But Bert I've got tender tootsies from all the running we've been doing Bert."Bert shoves Ernie out of the way and takes the road block but once in the chair starts enjoying the massage like Ernie. Bert: "eeeeee eeeee eeeee ooo uncle ehhahaha ehhahaha ehahaha" See I toldja Bert.With fresh feet they run off to find the detour.

Freddy 1 2 Freddy undoes his shoe, 3 4 the masseuse is on the floor, 5, 6 his feet smell like shit, 7, 8 the masseuse needs a resuscitate, 9 10 the masseuse says: "those feet will haunt my dreams, I'll never sleep again".

Detour 1
In this leg's first Detour, teams had to choose between Sync or Swim. In Sync, teams jumped off three-meter springboards and attempted to touch the water in unison. Teams had to score a five from the judges in order to obtain their next clue. In Swim, teams donned a pair of Speedo LZR Racer suits, the same type of suit worn by Michael Phelps in the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics, then teams had to swim eight lengths of the pool (400 meters) with each team member alternating after two lengths (100 meters). When they swam the whole eight lengths, they would receive their next clue (Phelps' world record time of 4:03.84 at the 400m individual medley from the 2008 Summer Olympics was shown for comparison, but teams were not required to beat it).

Highlights of SYNC
*The ponies put on a terrific show doing a double flip with a half twist before entering the water with a perfect no splash entry.

Lowlights of SYNC
*Chewy does a belly flop and the team struggles because Chewy weighs more than Han. On their second try Chewy pushes on the top of Han's head as they jump off so they can hit the water at the same time.

Quotes
Han: I don't know what's worse, Freddy's feet or wet wookie".
Chewy pulls Han's wet hat down over his ears.

Highlights of SWIM

*Bert's bald head is shaped exactly like a torpedo and he torpedos through the water. Ernie pretends he is a rubber ducky and quacks during his laps.

Lowlights of SWIM
*Freddy's knives rip his suit and leave his butt showing.

*Jason is slow to get in the water because he has flashbacks of when he drowned in Camp Crystal Lake. Jason isn't such a geat swimmer after all so Freddy has to drag him back and forth on a flutter board.Freddy gets his knives stuck in the flutterboard but manages to still pull Jason around the pool that way.

QUOTES

Ernie: "hey... It's Turbo Bert. Hey Bert can we wear these speedos around the apartment?"

Jason: I've seen some pretty scary things but Freddy's butt crack is by far the scariest... And the hairiest.

PIT STOP #1

Chewy and Han arrive first to pit stop #1 but are shocked when Adam tells them "Han and Chewy, you're team #1 but I have some bad news. This is a double-leg and you are still racing.Here is your next clue!"

The ponies arrive second into the pit stop, having stopped for grass in a field and are told they are #2 but are still racing. They are determined to get into the finale.

Bert and Ernie arrive 3rd and are both excited and scared they will be eliminated in the double leg. They vow to do their best. Ernie: Wow Bert that foot massage really helped I've still got happy feet. "Meeee too Ernie" They both do a little tap dancing number as they tap off with their clue.

Freddy drags Jason to the check point looking like a drowned rat.They threaten Adam menacingly when they hear they are the last team in. But perk up and take off once they find out they aren't out of the race. Freddy slices the clue open.


Teams are now off to their second detour. They have to choose between Beijing Opera or Chinese Waiter. In Beijing Opera, teams had to travel to the Huguang Huiguan Opera House; once there, they had to apply make-up onto each other exactly like the two models next to them. After approval, they had to go to the stage and bow to the master, who would hand them their next clue.

In Chinese Waiter, teams had to travel to Huguang Huiguan restaurant; once there, they had to record four customer orders, spoken in Mandarin. Then, teams had to take their pad to a chef and pronounce the Mandarin orders correctly to have the chef prepare them. When teams served the plates to the customers, they would receive their next clue.

Highlights

*Chewbacca has a real flare for doing makeup.

Han tries to use a tweezers to remove some facial hair but Chewy shakes him. Then Han comes back with an electric shaver
Lowlights

*Bert and Ernie arrive looking confused and keep asking for Oprah. They finally realise it is opera. Ernie starts doing Bert's make-up. Not wanting to be outdone by Chewy, Bert also grabs the microphone and drops a few verses of Ante up! Everyone starts moshing! Chewy goes crowd surfing.

CHINESE WAITER

Highlights

*The ponies do very well at this challenge.Once they take all the orders they are able to serve the customers very quickly by piling all the dishes on their backs.

*Freddy and Jason look quite smart having traded in their ratty clothing for some suits.

*Jason's White mask goes extremely well with his black suit and white dress shirt.

Lowlights

*Jason and Freddy have a hard time pronuncing Mandarin so they just threaten the waiter with their knives.

* Freddy spills a bowl of hot and sour soup. Jason slips over in it and yells "Freddy are you trying to kill me?"

*Before they leave the detour Freddy and Jason hit the kitchen and stock up on some new knives and cleavers.

Quotes
Freddy says "I don't need a bowl of soup to kill you, I could kill you with a tray!"
Jason says "Could not."
Freddy says "Could too."
This goes on for about 5 minutes until they start battling with trays.
They whack each other until the trays break apart and they are left with little bits of plastic in their hands. They chuck what's left of the trays, trade the ktichen for knives and cleavers and start running for the pit stop.

Fluttershy to Rainbow Dash. "Hey, is this what you might call pony a la carte"?"

The ponies say: "Ni Hao and Bon Appetit.

ROADBLOCK

In this leg's second Roadblock, one team member had to eat four fried Chinese delicacies: a grasshopper, beetle larvae, a scorpion, and a starfish. After they finished, they would receive their next clue.

Rainbow Dash: Neither pony really wants to take this Challenge so they try to do rock paper scissors for it and realise they have hooves. But Rainbow Dash jumps in and takes one for the team. She eat everything but going eeew eeew eeeew eeew the entire time while Fluttershy yells "swallow don't chew!"

ChewbaccaChewy stares at the food not moving.Han yells "What do you think the food on Kashykk is any better? Start with the star fish it's like a wooky pop tart!"
They finish the challenge and start running. Chewy makes a sound likemuuurrroooogerrr but this time it is coming from his stomach.Han says "oh no I'm having flash backs of the cheese wheel Challenge..What's that smell?Hurry run faster!"

Bert"A is for Apples, B is Bananas for a buck, C is for Cookies which it looks like Bert will chuck". Bert struggles to complete the roadblock when he looks up his eyebrows are crossed and he has gone from yellow to green. Bert finishes the roadblock after awhile.

Jason Jason is so happy to see such gross delicacies that he carves a smiley face into his goalie mask with his machete.Then he pulls out a bib from his pocket and dives facefirst into the food. smacking his lips and chewing loudly obviously loving it!Jason: "This is the first time all race I've had a decent meal.Hey Someone Call Mr. Stevens in Catering and tell him to put this on the menue with the Penne Al Aribiata."When finished jason pushes back his chair rubs his belly and let's out a belch that Homer and Barney would be jealous or proud of.




PIT STOP #2


First into the pit stop using 2 horsepower and their excellent language skills is Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash "Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash," says Adam, "You're Team #1 which means you are the first team in the final three." Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash bro-hoof each other and Rainbow Dash uses her sonic rainboom and almost destroys the pit stop. "As the winners of this leg of the race," says a rather singed Adam, "you have won a lifetime supply of pony food courtesy of Pony Pals."

Chewbacca and Han arrive 2nd Han trying to keep away from Chewy the best he can. "Han and Chewy you're team #2 and you are in the finale!" Han and Chewy sing Silent Night or Mwrorrr Urghrrr as they leave the pit stop.

Bert and Ernie arrive 3rd. Ernie is still insisting that Bert is NOT Bert because of the makeup. Bert is frantically trying to scrub it off as bodyguards from the Missing Bert Bureau aim water pistols at him. "Ernie and Bert, " says Adam , "You're team number 3! Which means you are in our final 3!" Bert, having been forced into his white turtleneck and striped sweater and painted yellow by the MBB sighs with relief.
Ernie high fives everything and everyone in sight.


Adam is waiting at the pit stop surrounded by Hannibal, Jigsaw, Leatherface, Mike Myers and a zombie army, all good friends of his. He is also wearing a protective suit, a catcher's mask and has a baseball bat. He uses a megaphone to talk to Freddy and Jason. "Freddy and Jason you are the last team to arrive, I am sorry to tell you you have both been eliminated from the race." They shout to Adam we'll be back and march off.Everyone waits anxiously to see what will happen.The killers return dragging one of the coffins from an earlier leg of the race.After Adam tells the killer's that they have been eliminated they begin to argue among themselves . Adam's body guards jump in and a full scale epic battle erupts!Taking the opportunity Adam saddles up one of the ponies and leads the remaining teams to safety. Due to the graphic violence the exit interview and elimination station will not appear at all as the killers have made their own elimination station.


NB : All the killers are now on the run from police if you see them DO NOT GO UP THE STAIRS or SHUT YOURSELF IN A CLOSET.

Adam's body guards realise that this fight is really between Freddy and Jason and everyone backs off. Meanwhile Freddy drops a lit stick of dynamite down the back of Jasons pants and Jason pushes Freddy into a human sized garbage disposal that he has somehow dragged on to the set. In the end Freddy and Jason eliminate each other.

The TV screen goes all fuzzy and we get a message from Freddy and Jason saying thanks for the good time on the race and come and visit us now that we are in space. Then it returns us to our regularly scheduled programming.

In space Freddy and Jason send a message "We're baaaaaaaaaaaaack."

Cue the eerie theme music as the screen fades to black.

Elimination Station #9 Hermione and Luna arrive

All the teams are worn out from constant partying and are waiting to see who comes through the door when Hermione and Luna appear having apparated in. All the teams are shocked because they thought the witches were doing well. The witches supply Butterbeer and Honeydukes chocolate to get everyone back in a party mood. Homer and Barney both perk up at the sounds of butterbeer and mmmm choooooooocolate.

The other teams ask what happened. They explain how the killers hatched an evil plan. They also tell everyone how they got the killers back and everyone has a good laugh.

Barney and Homer want Duff Beer to win and Butterbeer to come second.Homer and Barney start making plans for their next reallity TV show appearence on Iron chef!

Jeremy Kyle is excited that his favourite team the killers is still in the race but he does think he might have to do a show with them on playing fair and good sportsmanship.

Oprah is delighted that Bert and Ernie are still racing and hopes they make it to the final 3. She is thinking about the movie rights to their story.

Ross and Rachel are still hopeful for the ponies to win.

Daphnne and Velma want the ponies to win because they like talking to animals.

Luke and Leia and Leonard and Sheldon support Chewbacca and Han. The wizards don't care as long as it's not the killers. Frodo and Sam support Bert and Ernie and Batman and Robin want Chewy and Han to win. Hermione and Luna support Bert and Ernie because they've helped each other out in the past and also the ponies since they are the last remaining girl team in the race.
