Amazing Race Season 2: Finale Recap

Teams are now headed to Puerto Rico, then United States to finish THE AMAZING RACE.

First up is a detour. In this Detour, teams choose between Pony Up or Tee It Up. In Pony Up, teams had to ride a horse into the ocean then hang onto its tail as it goes around buoys, when the horse has finished its course, teams would receive their next clue. In Tee It Up, teams had to dress in proper golfing attire, then went out to the driving range and had to hit a golf ball into a 16-foot (4.9 m) area 140 yards (130 m) away. When one of the team members' puts a ball on the green, teams would receive their next clue.

TEE IT UP

Highlights

*Everyone is showing off their fancy golfing attire.Shaggy is looking very smart in his checkered pants while Scooby is wearing a shirt promoting Ernie's Barber shop and some very baggy long green and white shorts.

* Susan does a pirouette swinging her leg over top of Shaggy's head causing his smart white golfing cap to go flying.

Lowlights

*Shaggy takes some time to dig his hat and wig out of the sand trap where they landed.

*BOB rolls down the driving range and falls into the pond but gets his ball back.

*Susan keeps blasting the balls right over the green and one smashes through the window of Adam's make up trailer landing on his huge pile of Spaghetti .Adam almost chips a tooth biting into the golf ball thinking it was a meatball. From outside Bumblebee can be heard playing "On top of spaghettttiii"

*Before the challenge started Susan looked over to Shaggy and Scooby and asked:

Susan: Have you got the balls for this challenge?

Shaggy and Scooby were flabbergasted and not sure what to say.

Susan: Oh, there they are.

And she reaches behind them grabbing a bucket of golf balls.

Susan: There is a bucket of balls there for you guy too, hurry up.

Scooby"Rehehehehehehehehe. "

Shaggy "Like zoinks Scoob like i thought she was saying we're cowards."

Scooby"re rare...rarent re?"

Teams head to the roadblock from there. In the final Roadblock of the race, one team member had to dive off a 30 ft (9.1 m) bridge then swim 90 yards (82 m) to a buoy, where they would find their next clue. After obtaining the clue, they went to the waiting boats that returned them to shore.

Scooby: Scooby stands on the edge of the bridge teeth chattering and knees knocking."Rikes Raggy Ri ron't rike reights!" Shaggy throws some Scooby snacks into the air in front of Scooby and before he realises what he has done he dives after the snacks

Scooby: Gulp! rmm rooby ranks... Rikes! Ragggggy!!!

Susan:

Susan does a canon ball and soaks everyone.

She causes a huge tidal wave that Scooby rides grabbing the clue on his way past.

Statler:Statler gets a soaker while stan "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine." Waldorf"you old fool I'm not your son and my name's not Shine. Now jump in that water and start swimming you old fool." Statler says "Where's that crazy barber I could use a rubber ducky right now. "

FINISH LINE

Teams can now head to the finish line in the United States. All teams get on the same plane so it could be anyone's guess who wins. All the previously eliminated teams are gathered at the finish line to see who will be the winner of The Amazing Race Season 2 when Scooby and Shaggy appear. The two of them sprint away from a headless Frankenstein who reveals himself to be Richard Hatch, winking at the cameras.They crash through the finish line and come to a stop in front of Adam.

"A race lasting 29 days and nearly 40,000 miles. I am pleased to tell you that you are the winners of The Amazing Race and have solved the mystery of winning 1 million dollars!!!!"

Shaggy: Zoinks, and double Zoinks, Scoob we did it we won. That million dollars will sure buy a lot of tuna fish and chocolate ice cream subs. mmmmMaybe we can even buy a new pimped out mystery machine for Freddy to drive.

Scooby says "ri rouldnt rave rone rit rithout ry rood rold ruddy raggy"

Shaggy says "And I couldn't have done it without my best buddy in the whole wide world. Now let's do what we do best, Scoob. Eat!" The crowd lift up Shaggy and Scooby and they start crowd surfing.

As Statler and Waldorf come in to the check in mat:

Adam: "Well, here they are ladies and Gentleman. It's Starsky and Crutch. "

S and W: Hey Adam your standing too close to the check in mat.

"Well how's this?"

"Still too close."

"How's this?"

"A little more."

"Well how far back do you want me to go?"

S and W: "Gotta car?"

Adam: I outta punch you in the nose for that.

S"Please not while I'm holding it."

Holding their noses Statler and Waldorf go to be checked in.

Adam: You may be crusty and you may be dusty but you old fellows are team number two! Congratulations!"

Adam:" BOB and Susan you didn't win the race but you still made a big finish! Congratulations you are team number three."Susan hugs Bob and says she is proud of how far they came and everything they saw. Bob is too busy looking at the green jello with pineapple chunks and saying it is his new love. Bob says he lost interest in Mark when he got dyed purple because purple isn't his color.

Adam announces that the Amazing Race Season 2 is now over. A monster yells "Time for makeupppp." "What?" "Makeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeuppppppppppppp." Adam gets powderpuffed with a giant cloud of powder in his face. Statler and Waldorf grab him and pull him onto the bus where the other team members are now and Mr Burns drives away. Adam can be heard screaming "Let me outtttttt...." and we hear Kermit say "Can I help you out?" "Please." "which way did you come in?"

The screen fades to black. It goes fuzzy and then a clip of Freddy and Jason appear from space saying "We'll be back. Hasta la vista, baby."

Exit interview with Bumblebee and Optimus

Where did it all go wrong for you?

Bumble Bee plays the CCR song that goes: "Down on the corner out in the street."

Optimus says they would've done better at the roadblock if they were able to transform.

What was the highlight of the race for your team?

Optimus: We enjoyed the fun rivalry and competition with BOB and Susan and we hope they do well in the final leg. Bumble Bee plays a little bit of the song: Run around Sue.

What will you do now the race is over?

Optimus: Well I plan on transforming into a food truck and getting myself on that Street eats show on the food network.

There is no elimination station as of now because teams are making their way to the finish line to cheer on their teams. Mr Burns has left a large amount of reckless driving in his wake.

Amazing Race Season 2: Episode 9 Recap

Teams are now headed to England.

DETOUR

In this Detour, teams choose between Brains or Brawn. In Brains, teams had to take London Underground and solved a series of three riddles. First, teams had to find the left luggage in Waterloo station for their first item. Second, they had to find the three naked men statue in Hammersmith tube station and find the second item. Third, they had to find and make their way to the Baker Street tube station named for London's most famous detective, Sherlock Holmes and find the statue outside to receive the third item. Once finished, teams took the mystery items that would eventually lead the teams to 221B Baker Street, the home of Sherlock Holmes Museum and to find the detective nearby, who would hand them their next clue in exchange for the items.

In Brawn, teams had to make their way to Battersea Park where teams had to transport five 160 pounds (73 kg) boats from a lake to the storage area 500 yards (460 m) away, when completed, teams would be handed their next clue.

BRAINS

*In a gripping race through the London Underground, Shaggy and Scooby and Statler and Waldorf battled it out for which team would be the brainiest. Would it be The youthful sleuths who were good at solving mysteries... Or, would age, experience and wisdom prevail?

Highlights

Part 1

*Scooby pretends to be a bellhop "rank rou rir," he says, taking Shaggy's mop off his bald head "rat rill be rone rillion rollars."

Shaggy: "Come on Scoobs no time for foolin around we better bellhop to it and find that luggage."

Part 3

*Scooby produces a Sherlock Holmes hat and magnifying glass and starts looking for the statue.

*Statler and Waldorf see the statue at the same time. A train has just let off it's passengers and a huge swarm of people cut off Shaggy and Scooby allowing Statler and Waldorf to jump into the lead.

Lowlights

*Statler and Waldorf get into an argument as they search.

Waldorf: Statler we need to find the left luggage.

Statler: Right.

Waldorf: No the left luggage.

Statler: Right!

Waldorf: Look you old fart, are we trying to win this race or what? We need to find the left luggage.

Statler: Right!... I mean correct.

Waldorf: Oh. Dohohohohoh Let's go!

Shaggy: Good job Scoobs you sovled the mystery.

Statler is taken by surprise when the statue actually talks back to him and asks him to say hello to his good friend Ernie.

Waldorf says: I don't know what Ernie was doing with a statue of a naked guy but we gotta go!

BRAWN

Highlights

*BOB jumps on the boat and starts singing "Look at me I'm on a boat. "

Lowlights

* Optimus says "Don't you mean tow tow tow your boat quickly cross the grass. Pay attention don't you trip and fall upon your ass. "

*Optimus quite proud of his little ditty accidently gets a loose rope from the boat wrapped around his leg causing him to trip and fall on his ass.

*Susan and BOB trash talk the autobots as they race past.

*Bumblebee plays "Row, row, row your boat." *

*Susan: Hey boys, It looks like you're sunk. Badunka dunk. Wooo!

In this Roadblock, that team member had to drive a Double Decker bus through a marked course without hitting any cones. If they hit a cone, the bus driver would reset the bus back to the beginning of the course and had to start again. At the end of the course, the team member had to park the bus in the designated parking area to receive their next clue.

Team members doing the ROADBLOCK:

Bob:The race takes a literal turn as BOB drives his bus perfectly through the course. However not having any legs, he finds it difficult to stop and cruises right on out of the bus yard and onto the nearest highway where he turns the bus sideways and causes a huge roadblock.

Bumblebee:Bumblebee uses his problem solving skills when he realizes that he won't fit inside of the bus so he straddles it instead and rides it rodeo style through the course playing: "The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round, the wheels on the bus go round and round. All through the town"

Shaggy: "Like I hope there's nothing scary on this bus." Shaggy climbs on to the bus and begins the challenge. Suddenly the bus starts speeding and jerking violently from side to side until it comes to a standstill between two pylons. Shaggy runs off the bus screaming Zombie bus driver zombieeee bus driver.A grotesque figure dressed in bus driver's clothing emerges from the bus and moaning starts to chase after Shaggy. Scooby dives into action setting up a trip wire causing the zomby to fall and get tangled up.Scooby: Raggy! Rhats rot a rombie. Re's rearing Rikes.!

Shaggy: Jee Wiz Scooby you're right Zombies don't wear Nikes. Who is it then?

Scooby pulls off the zombie mask to reveal... Richard Hatch.

Shaggy: Hatch! You again.

Hach: That's right! and if it wasn't for this meddling mutt I would have scared you outta the race.

Shaggy runs back on to the bus and finishes the challenge while Adam escorts Richard Hatch off the set.

As Adam drags Hatch off the set he can be heard screaming, "I'll be back. I'll Be back!!!"

Waldorf: Waldorf takes advantage of all the commotion caused by BOB's driving, Richard Hatch's antics and Bumblebee's blaring music to quietly hop onto his bus and complete the course with a perfect parking job at the end putting him and Statler at the front of the pack.

Waldorf drives the bus over the pit stop. Statler yelling out behind him "What about me?"Statler jumps on Adam's back and yells "Quick man after that bus! "

PIT STOP

*Adam makes Richard Hatch act as the pit stop , painting his face in the same colours as a U-turn sign

and hold a sign "PIT STOP: IT'S THE PITS" to replace the checkin mat Waldorf just obliterated.

*It is argued since Waldorf and Statler technically reached the checkin mat first (bus and all) that they are team number One! Adam tries to tell Statler what he has won while Statler is still on Adam's back. When Waldorf returns from his bus the two are told "Statler and Waldorf you are team number one and as the winners of this leg of the race they have won a

trip away from their box, to a big theatre in Jamaica, a vintage bus company, a best of Milton Berle DVD and butt cushions for their chairs in the box.

Scooby and Shaggy arrive and bowl over Richard Hatch and say "You've been hatched!" Adam starts laughing and can't stop and says "Sc..ssscoooby and Sh...shaaa....gggy....you've been hatched. You're...team....team....nu...number...twooooooooooooooooooo!"

Shaggy: Zowie wowie ol buddy ol pal we are in the top three!

Scooby"Rets ro raggy rets rin ris ring!

Bob and Susan rush to the pit stop and wait for the bad news. "Bob and Susan, " says Adam, "I'm sorry to tell you....(Cue Bob's soap opera crying) you are team number 3 and you are still in the race! BOB bounces and Susan jumps up and down in joy.

Last comes Bumblebee and Optimus who look at Adam expectantly. Bumblebee took a turn too sharply at the end of the course tipping the bus and knocking over a pylon causing him to start over again. He gets hit on the head by a pylon causing him to play Raindrops keep falling on my head. He manages to do the course and they head to the pit stop. "Bumblebee and Optimus, " says Adam, "you're the last team to arrive. I am sorry to tell you you have both been eliminated from the race. " Susan runs up and shakes hands with both the autobots and says how much fun it has been racing against them and that bigger is better. Bumblebee plays Beck's I'm a loser baby but Optimus says: "Too soon too soon. "

Elimination Station: Alf and E.T and Mark and Roger arrive

All the teams are now getting ready to head to where the finale will be as the race is down to the final four.

Mr Burns is driving the team to the airport where they will catch a plane to America (that is assuming they survive Burns' driving) All teams at the elimination station were shocked to see Alf and E.T and Mark and Roger walk in as they were known to be fan favourites, even starting a war between their fans.

Teams favouring Bob and Susan: Yoda and Obi and Mark. Roger will have nothing to do with that team.

Teams favouring Bumblebee and Optimus: Simba and Nala, Squidward and Plankton and Mr Burns just because they like driving so much.

Teams favouring Scooby and Shaggy: Alf and E.T, Hannibal and Jigsaw and Kermit and Miss Piggy

Teams favouring Statler and Waldorf: Roger, Spongebob and Patrick and Smithers.

Caught on camera as Mr Burns and Simba drove others to the airport: A wild car chase, with many mailboxes and pedestrians knocked over. Nobody was able to catch them because their driving was so terrible and Mr Burns paid everybody to keep them quiet Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Exit interviews with Mark and Roger and Alf and E.T

Where did things go wrong for you?

Mark and Roger: Well as you can see we are both purple.

Alf tells them that they should meet up with their purple friends Barney and Grimace. Alf and E.T start calling Mark and Roger Barney and Grimace.

Alf says he shouldn't have stopped to dye his fur blue and Mark say "yeah you look like a monster from a horror movie."

What were the highlights of the race for you?

Mark and Roger say "all the support from our friends. " Mark says he liked meeting that blue blob called Bob and makes Roger write a new song. Roger changes the lyrics "Our race was going fine until we met that blob. He said his name was Bob and our victory he did rob. "

E.T says it was drinking tea "E.T drink tea, make Alf peee.....eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee"

Alf says obviously "it is this flashy new hairdo. I look pretty fly for an Alf guy. "

What would you have done differently?

Mark and Roger say they were trying to beat their best time. "What was that?" "500,25,000 600 minutes. "

Alf and E.T say they wouldn't do anything differently. They enjoyed racing together even though they'd never met. Alf says "This E.T is a cool dude. " E.T likeeeee Alf.

Would you come back if there was another chance to compete in the race?

Mark and Roger say they probably would.

Alf says he'd think about it but with this flashy new hair he might try for America's next top model next. E.T says he would "E.TTTTTT raceeeeeeeeeee Alf again."
